Yeah, I'd like to see a picture of the hairless cat. I wonder if he still likes to be brushed?

Kidding, just kidding. He could be a Devon Rex. These are the cats to get if you are allergic. They are claimed to be hypoallergenic but that really depends on the severity of your allergies. http://www.cfa.org/breeds/profiles/devon.html Other rex cats: Cornish Rex: http://www.cfa.org/breeds/profiles/cornish.html Selkirk Rex: http://www.cfa.org/breeds/profiles/selkirk.html

0 HUGE progress today with Mikki. Yes you see it right, MIKKI.
Mikki is definitely a girl. A pretty blue cream tabby with bright green eyes. I'll try to get a pic of her. Today I brought her food and water and she let me pet her, grab the scruff of her neck, scratch her itchy flea bitten tushy and i was able to lift her from her belly as well. I didn't want to freak her out so I left her and ran home to get some Frontline. Went back and petted her and medicated her and ran to ShopRite for some stuff to make my fruit salad. The cat carrier is permanently in the truck. Matt and I will try for her later tonight. I have the outside crate set up under the pergola for her and the inside crate is still set up in the living room. This cat is going to take MUCH longer to acclimate than Sofie. Stupid spay clinic was closed today. I'll have to give them a call again to price this. Two girl cats at my regular vet will cost me close to $1000 to spay. I just don't have that kind of money. Hopefully I can get some wormer for them from the clinic too or else I'll try calling in some favors from my emergency vets and other connections. That over the counter stuff is useless.

0 I'm sure Ra is a Devon, but I'll ask his 'mummy' when she comes home again. He is a very bright active cat, a sleeps behind the TV because of the heat it gives off. He is reluctant to welcome visitors, but he always comes to me which is lucky for Amanda! She can go on holiday knowing he will get spoilt.

0 $1000.00 to spay 2 kitties?????
Around here the mobile vet spays for $95 each plus $15 for post procedure meds. Toms get to meow in a higher register for $60 plus the meds. Only in NJ I guess.

0 It's very expensive here. VERY.
The clinic is still closed. Hopefully tomorrow they'll be open.
