0 Cats have no business outdoors unless its in a controled environment or a farm cat. When I took my sons took their hunter safety course one of the questions was if you are out hunting and come across a cat, what do you do. Ofcourse all the kids said "nothing" then the instructer said correct BUT if you are in the field hunting and happen across a cat and you don't believe it to be the farmers, shoot it. All they do is kill baby birds, squirrels, rabbits, and so forth. They don't even eat them, just kill them. I loved my cat. She would go outside and was more afraid of the out doors than just about anything. One day the wife wasn't paying attention and she went over the fence. Haven't seen her since. Pity. I know shes living somewhere. She was a good cat.
If I had known grandkids were this much fun, I would have had them first.

0 I could easily revert to my alter ego at this point in this thread, I rescue cats, dogs and humans, I get so much more appreciation from the dogs and cats, people suck they are the most ungrateful species on the face of the planet.
Mess with my animals and my dogs can have what's left when I get finished. However, I will have a few pics of my latest rescue as well as updated ones of the last, cruiser is so freakin big I can't believe it. I went and saw most of these bands back when they were young and new, I really have little desire to go see them in the geriatrics stage of theirs and my life.
A resolution to avoid an evil is seldom framed till the evil is so far advanced as to make avoidance impossible.

0 I saw Styx at the Spectrum during the Paradise Theater tour. It was the first show in the US for that tour. I learned to play a few of their tunes that night by using field glasses and watching Chuck Panozzo's hand on the neck of his bass.
Tickets were priced at $15 for the floor, $12 for lower deck and $10 for nosebleed seats.

Havoc, thank you for your post. Your reasoning is exactly why I asked to end this conversation friendly like. I am passionate about my animals and anyone abusing an animal in front of me feels my wrath. You can't tell a "farmer's cat" from a stray. PEROID. Shooting someone's pet because you think it's a stray is an awful thing and should be illegal in all states. I've been working with the ASPCA and other groups (not the nutty ones like PeTA) to get laws changed to better protect animals. Just hearing that a cat should be shot and someone actually teaches a child this sends my blood boiling.
