0 A change of scenery today. So it's off to Johnstown with 9,000 plus lbs of frozen sugared yolk which will end up in iced cream!

0 Nice and windy today.
Damage report: Side door jamb is now destroyed from the storm door blowing open. Repairs to be made tonight. Cover on the grill is now shredded. Metal from fucking Nick's shed is now blowing all over. One of these days he's going to stop waiting for nature to take down his rusty shed and finish the job himself. I hate these stormy days. I thought this shit was supposed to go on in March and only rain in April? Someone's forgotten their poems. I have no idea what you're talking about so here's a bunny with a pancake on it's head

0 So yesterday I went to Johnstown. Turned off of I-99 onto US 22 at Altoona and after a mile and a half began climbing up Johnstown mountain only to find near blizzard conditions?????
 IT'S FUCKING APRIL! It was 60 degrees and drizzling when I left the house. Friggin snow and 33 degrees when I got to Johnstown. WTF? Oh well, down to Boyertown and back twice today loaded for 3 of the 4 legs. Down full, back empty, down again full and back full to cap off the day. Should be at it for 12 - 13 hrs. 0 I've seen it snow in early May around here so up in the "hills" I'm not surprised! Totally sucks though when you've had tastes of warm weather and sunshine to have it hit though. We're in for more this week too, should be hitting you today LK.

0 It was 84º here Sunday.

0 Looks to be a decent workday today. Gotta take a load to Boyertown (like you didn't see that one coming) and then run back to the plant empty and grab another trailer going to "the pig farm".
The pig farm (H & H Farms) is only 60 miles from the plant and is an EASY delivery! We take the scraps from the vegetables that go into our pre-cooked omelets there to be used as food for the hogs. |
