That's a nice idea, Twistie. Only thing is that is a 24/7/365 job. You don't get to go anywhere for yourself unless you designate a certain time when the B&B does not book guests.

Got my ass handed to me again yesterday at that place, today is gonna be better......right?

I'm too damn lazy to look for the other threads, but just a useless random thought for now, I don't think I have time this week to get the next photo assignment, I'm getting ready for vacation, gotta be all set to go Friday right after work, so I have to be all packed and have my shit together by Thursday evening, crap, I only have two more evenings to get ready.
I guess all I really need to do is figure out my clothes, my shaving kit, my possibles kit, my snacks, charge my batteries, roll my sleeping pad, pack a bag for the overnight on the way, pack a bag for the overnight on the way back, pack all my shit on BOB, see if everything fits in the back of the prius, load the car, check the car out, tune my bike, check air pressure in my bike tires, get a spare bike tube, eat, sleep, shit, and go to work for 4 more days. Nah, nothing to it.

Well I think he's cute. What you do want in your area are opossums. They are the rat's enemy and will do a better job of keeping rodent vermin out of your house than any cat.

I used to feed the raccoons when I had the farm. I enjoyed them. I kept a bag of food out by the barn for them to keep them from coming up to the house. It was amazing that they didn't raid the whole bag at once, but they made it stretch for quite some time.

I have plenty of possums too, either it's the furry ringed tail at the food dish or the hairless rat tail hanging out. A chick I work with keeps a pet possum. I know it stays in the house, I just imagine that it sleeps in bed with her too. Anyway, she claims that possums can't get rabies, you ever hear this?

Raccoons carry rabies, not sure about 'possums. I'll look into it for you though. Possums love eggs.

So, I go out early every day for my bike rides now. Into the nature reserve to look at the woods and critters. I got fucking poison ivy all over me. Damnit.
