0 Gross. Poor fishies gasping for air until they're dead.
I have no idea what you're talking about so here's a bunny with a pancake on it's head

0 I'm also a fisherman. Pretty good too. And living on the great lakes I get some EXCELLENT trout family fishing. King Salmon, Coho Salmon, Rainbow Trout (aka Steelhead when their running upriver for spawning time), Brown Trout, Brook Trout... mmmm Good Eats!!!
I have an excellent baked salmon recipe I'll share if I can find it

I caught them Saturday morning a few rainbows and some brook trout one native they were "in my belly" 1/2 hr after that pic was taken it was 10:30 AM and I did not get any bones they pull right out once they are cooked. Sometimes I go on my lunch break and have stayed out 2-3 hrs forgeting the time some days.

0 When you land a rainbow it's a thing of beauty! Brookies tend to give you the best fight and natives are so skittish you literally need to sneak up to the water's edge so they don't see you.
We have a very small stream here (Clark's Creek) that at places you can literally span the creek with one foot on each shore. It's loaded with native trout but they are very elusive. I've had the best luck catching them by hiding behind a stand of mountain laurels and casting over them. If they see you they won't bolt but they will let any bait just float past. Smart little buggers! I haven't gone fishing in a long time due to not having the time. I think I'll try to get out and drown a few worms this summer. |
