Volumetric efficiency on a supercharger can flatten out at higher rpm's. I don't know that I would say drop off. And at those engine speeds a sc will be adding a great deal of heat to the air/fuel charge, which in and of itself is bad. If you want to spin an engine to those rpm's, that ford v8 would not be an ideal choice. (Just think what those piston speeds are!!)
TK, in the end, anything can be done with enough $$. Only you can decide what your wallet can support. I personally know one guy that has dumped a ton of money into this mod, but he also upgraded brakes, practically race tires on new wheels, suspension etc.
I personally think taking a new ecoboost Mustang and upgrading those turbos could be a lot of fun. Either that or that new flat crank v8...damn!
