Personally I find it to be a bunch of bullshit. She says "it's different down here". I still call bullshit.
I think she's getting ripped off (along with everyone else down there).
Kbear lives down there and she's never said a word about shit like this. I think Trudi has people or friends there and Trudi, can you chime in if they get notices like this?
This is for extreme cold conditions she says.

If the water is hot, you don't need a heater for it. Just sayin...

Nobody ever wants to foot the bill for an upgrade like that.
Edit: I went and read the notice. It's not about the grid, it's about the supply. They don't think they will have the generation capacity. Not sure why the concern, they can buy extra electricity off of the nationwide grid. That makes it seem a little weirder to me...
