It's the opposite here. Outback is mediocre on everything here. I test a steakhouse by it's filet mignon. If you destroy something so tender I can't imagine what you'll do to a NY cut. Double that test with if they make it as rare as I like it

Granted, all chains are risky. They hire cooks and not chefs to make the food. The "chefs" are at the corporate kitchens making the menus. These kinds of places are taking over all the mom and pop outfits for dining too and it's kind of sad.
