Well the thing is even with our gun laws if this guy did this here in jersey, there would have been no difference in out come. Before this shooting the only criminal record was he got a ticket years ago, this guy WAS a good, intelligent guy that snapped for whatever reason. Part of what made this shooting get to such a epic proportion was the movie theater I believe did not allow people that could conceal carry to do so.
Someone was telling me one of the victims who always carried was approached by the gun man, he instinctively went to reach for his gun but forgot he didn't have it because the movie theater wouldn't let him carry it on their property.
Not to mention this guy had an advanced body armor set up protecting all his vitals so even being shot at he would have stayed alive as long as possible even being hit. I still would think, if someone that exercises the right to carry had been allowed to, I dont think the death toll would have reached 12 people and 59+ injured.
