Walmart employees piss me off. I realize most are going to be that way, but it really sets it up for ridicule when the manager talks to me like I am one of the retards too. I don't think he realizes I was doing some real hard, complicated shit that is beyond the courage of many men to even achieve in an occupation that ceased barely a year ago. That yes, I can use a radio with proper etiquette (whereas everyone else speaks all slobbery and cuts each other off, but somehow, I am not qualified to do this yet), that I can follow directions, and that I can figure out things quite easily. Most importantly, that I can work on my own with little to no supervision without problems in getting things done.
I feel for Walmart managers, but I think I dropped enough polite hints that I don't need to be shepherded around with the rest of the dumbfucks.
At least this is only a part-time summer job till semester kicks in. I think I get ammo discounts after a couple of months. This is crucial.
I've also come to realize just how different life has made me compared to most folks on campus, and at plain hourly jobs. Its somewhat cool, yet disturbing.
