I'm still wondering what does all this highly 'expanding' water has to do with the need to purchase new cookware? Did your previous set promote this sort of thing?

Yes, as I stated in the first post where I said I bought new pans:

I bought new pots and pans today!
No more "exploding" water and burned hands.

Please try to imagine someone never having this problem. I have never had anything remotely akin to what you are talking about. I do a lot of cooking, and have for years, but never water doing anything remotely like that.

I guess this cook stuff is microwave safe?
I once have a coffee explode on me as I added milk to it from the microwave. Hence I no longer heat liquids like that in the microwave.
