Yeah I didn't know if it would be double jeopardy or not.
The woman she implicated already has a civil case pending and will start that trial in August. The Texas Equi-search is going to file a civil case against her for making them wast 4000+ people and hundreds of thousands of dollars helping her. I think there is a long line waiting to sue her. I also think the local law and state law can try to recoup monies wasted on her sending them on a wild goose chase too.
I dont' think they can or will charge her on impeding an investigation, desecrating a corpse or illegally disposing a corpse. Since they couldn't prove she had anything to do with murder or how the baby actually died, they can't bring that up. She could say all she wants that it was a drowning accident, but that couldn't be proved either, so I dont' think they can charge her on those things.
