Casey Anthony Trial - VERDICT IS IN! - Twitchin Kitten - 07-05-2011

Has anyone else been following that Casey Anthony trial?

The verdict will be announced in about half an hour.

I'm voting she's guilty. There is no way around it. The bullshit of an accidental drowning doesn't fly with me and how the father helped and panicked about an accidental drowning.

He was an Ohio cop for 10 years. He should know the protocol for this kind of stuff. I also noticed that no one asked him about why as a cop he didn't do the right thing. Maybe he was the worst cop in the world? Dunno.

OK now, who killed her baby?

Casey Anthony is having a very good day. Smiling, laughing, crying tears of joy and her baby was put in a bag and thrown on the side of the road like garbage without ever having justice served for her.

So what was this one?

RE: Casey Anthony Trial - VERDICT IS IN! - Twitchin Kitten - 07-05-2011

The young mother from Florida who murdered her baby and never reported her missing for 30 days. She partied as if the kid never existed during the whole time the kid was missing.

Unbelievable!

How in hell could any of those jurors have reasonable doubt? How do they explain away the chloroform, the duct tape and Casey Anthony's actions in the first 30 days? Holy shit.

The judge gave her the maximum with time served for the 4 counts of lying today. She could be out of jail as early as February or summer 2012.

Does anyone know if the state has the right to appeal and try her again for murder?

Flash!!!!!

She is slated to be released this coming Thursday!

She can't be retried for the murder of her daughter. That would constitute double jeopardy which is prohibited. They CAN however charge her with impeding a police investigation, desecrating a corpse, illegally disposing of a corpse, and if someone she is close to is charged with the murder eventually, conspiracy to murder. The "nanny" she tried to implicate can file suit for slander and defamation of character.

Yeah I didn't know if it would be double jeopardy or not.

The woman she implicated already has a civil case pending and will start that trial in August. The Texas Equi-search is going to file a civil case against her for making them wast 4000+ people and hundreds of thousands of dollars helping her. I think there is a long line waiting to sue her. I also think the local law and state law can try to recoup monies wasted on her sending them on a wild goose chase too.

I dont' think they can or will charge her on impeding an investigation, desecrating a corpse or illegally disposing a corpse. Since they couldn't prove she had anything to do with murder or how the baby actually died, they can't bring that up. She could say all she wants that it was a drowning accident, but that couldn't be proved either, so I dont' think they can charge her on those things.
