I was thinking the same thing.
When we were kids, my mom got us a pool. It was close enough to the back deck for my brother to jump off the railing into the pool. That deck was 10 feet above the top of the pool which was only 4 feet deep. I think it was about 6-8' from the deck. It was a bit of a stretch but my brother was a goddamn daredevil at 8 years old.
