My yard - Jamminitin - 09-14-2010 We have 2 1/2 acres and live in hillbilly country. I have to drive where ever I go but it's worth it. Here are some photos of my little piece of heaven on earth. RE: My yard - kbear - 09-14-2010 Nice yard!!! Like the house too!! RE: My yard - Twitchin Kitten - 09-14-2010 The pics posted like that because they are a .bmp image. .bmp = bitmap image and they are huge files. internet images should be .jpeg / .jpg / .gif or .png. These are compress images that load fast on the net. Now for your yard - It's gorgeous! I love the pool and hot tub and your hubby is nice eye candy I can't believe they allow that fence for the pool. Here the restrictions are so tight we almost had to put a fence around the pool which is INSIDE a small fenced in yard. We got away with it because we have a 6' fence with self closing gates. I took off the self closing springs once we passed inspection. My pool is above ground because of the sand here. I didn't want to chance a flooding issue (we flood in the basement every time it rains) and screw up the pool. It's happened to a lot of pools in this area. I figure with the above ground it's not such a huge loss if there are issues. RE: My yard - twisteroo - 09-15-2010 Here I got all excited thinking I was gonna see Jammin's well manicured backyard. That is a really nice house/yard/pool. That trampoline need to be..just a...little bit..closer to the pool. RE: My yard - Twitchin Kitten - 09-15-2010 I was thinking the same thing. When we were kids, my mom got us a pool. It was close enough to the back deck for my brother to jump off the railing into the pool. That deck was 10 feet above the top of the pool which was only 4 feet deep. I think it was about 6-8' from the deck. It was a bit of a stretch but my brother was a goddamn daredevil at 8 years old. RE: My yard - Jamminitin - 09-15-2010 There is no deep end in the pool so I would be having a heart attack with the tramp next to it. The older I get the more vivid my imagination gets anyway. "They will bash their head on the side, they will break a leg mid-jump" yada yada. We will actually be eventually taking the fence down and having it run straight out from the side of the house and then edge the trees with fencing. (not chainlink but a garden type 5 ft fence) We also got rid of the hot tub as previously mentioned-money sucking devil. Hubby-he stays as long as he behaves himself-LOL RE: My yard - Rhubarb - 09-26-2010 (09-15-2010, 09:13 AM)Jamminitin Wrote: Hubby-he stays as long as he behaves himself-LOL No chance with mine Doesn't know the word, behave. Oh for a garden that hasn't got a scrap yard attached! |
