This morning I was laying in bed (wondering how long I could stay there until I was officially late for work) watching the squirrels in the chestnut tree across the road.
There is was- the first aircraft passing over high up in the sky. First one since Thursday. The skies look like a patch work quilt with the stuffing pulled out again
I really prefered the clear sky with real cotton ball clouds and not the trails.
The volcano has settled down a bit for the time being. I called my friend in Norway, who we are visiting soon. She had already started looking at back up plans if the volcano starts again while we are with her, or ideas how to get to her if the flights are cancelled. She said they had 4 inches of snow last night and yes it was snow not ash like Mark wanted her to go outside and check!
The cars all look as if they have just come out of storage, the dust on them!
