I love gossip. I can't help it. I know it's a sin, but I still enjoy hearing it. Unless, of course, it is about me. Then I just think it's bullshit.
My local area is a breeding ground for gossip. I decided I would share some since I don't know any of you and none of you know who I am gossiping about.
The closest metropolitan news just aired an investigative report regarding a small town mayor that owns a pawn shop who "inspired" the police chief to buy all their weapons and gear from the pawn shop without getting outside bids. The sheriff "resigned" about a month ago amid wild speculation. When the local chat board got ahold of the news story, it comes out that the sheriff left his wife and was living with another deputy. The other woman, stupid as can be, gets on the local chat board and ADMITS the affair. It is times like these I wish I was a divorce attorney. Most times I abhor them, but I bet they hear good shit.
On the same board, I was PMing with a lady when she received a PM of a girl's taco (her word). The girl sent it to her by accident because her husband hand PM'd her and the other girl a joke and that was the reply. The lady was super pissed. They didn't get divorced, even though he is a pig, because they have a son. That makes me sad.
Oh, and my boss is a dick. Just had to say that. He got caught humping a coworker of mine by a janitor. The janitor got a better position at another facility and the coworker didn't. She got screwed twice (and her husband left her soon after because he was cheating).
