0 Tomorrow, I have to get on this big, mechanical thing that really SHOULDN'T be able to get off the ground. It's called a plane. I hate flying. I will be drugged. The end.

They don't deserve a dog if they're going to keep it abandoned.
I have no idea what you're talking about so here's a bunny with a pancake on it's head

0 Okay, so back to the guy I work with... it was one of my Fridays when I usually work alone (we get every other Friday off and I work alternating Fridays so there's always coverage) but two of my co-workers were on overtime. There was a VERY hot item that had to go out over night for a shop in another building that I don't normally support and upper management had gotten involved and arranged everything to go smoothly that day, including our young little Captain to oversee. All I had to do was 'sell' it to generate paperwork, etc... very simple two minute transaction, and someone else would hand carry the asset, blah blah blah. I was only marginally involved merely because everyone else had the day off. Typical down Friday for me.
SO! This guy I've been posting about decided to go down to the supervisor working that day and tell him that he needed to get the sale up to HIM early and if there were any problems, to see HIM. He had nothing, absofuckinglutely NOTHING to do with this that day except to tell them to hurry up with an item that was already so god damn hot it was glowing red. And he ended up getting an award yesterday.

0 The mark of a great employee, take control of a situation, capitolize on its momentum, and excel above the level of the dead friday girl.

0 I got a million stories like that Twilla.
One of my latest is about a year ago I'm working in the recycling area of the plant and they really kind of need another material baler. I come across one on craigslist one night, I happen to tell the secretary, she goes on-line and e-mails the link to a couple of the bosses. (You know something? The guy sorting trash does not get e-mail access) Anyway.....ZOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!! Off she goes with a company credit card in hand and buys the baler...blah, blah, blah......they are so grateful they take her out to lunch....as I'm washing out plastic jugs and sorting paper, plastic, and cardboard, and loading a stinking garbage truck. I can only imagine that her performance report for that year stated that she went above and beyond for the company etc, etc, etc.... I'm union, I'm a shitbag by association.

0 If that's what you consider 'excelling' then that explains your usual inane posting style here.
