My cat is sick. REALLY sick. I thought he stroked out on me yesterday but it turns out he had a massive potassium crash and his thyroid is so hyperactive the numbers are thru the roof.

So, I'm now nursing him with meals every hour.
He's lethargic and will be this way for a couple weeks until the potassium and other meds kick in.

I also found out my vet is dying of an inoperable brain tumor. I left the vets office in tears.

It took me a LONG time to find a good vet that I trust, won't rip me off or treat me like he's got a customer who is going to sue him if he can't perform a miracle on a dying animal.

I'm having one crap week. Tomorrow I got an appt. for a haircut. $1 says she fucks up my hair. Why not? Everything else is fucked this week. Tantrum

Aww, I'm sorry Chucky isn't doing well. Is he going to make it? It breaks my heart when one of my babies has to be put down.

I've never had a haircut I like. I have very curly hair and it's a rare find to get someone who can cut it the way I like. They NEVER listen to me when I try to explain exactly what to do too. I hate having to do that as I know how annoying it is even from another hairdresser but you'd think the same girl would learn by now?

I just need it trimmed at the bottom. I'm going to let it grow out again because it's easier to have one long length of hair than something to constantly maintain and not be happy with.

The girls in the vets office were telling me several customers were telling them to get a Facebook page or Twitter for Doc but really, what are you going to do with that? Put updates on his impending death?

Oh and I've been using the guy since 1987 too. He really is the best and all the animals take to him.

Sorry about Chucky and the vet. I'm worrying a little about my 20 y/o kitty--haven't seen her today. She'll probably show up--she's still getting around amazingly well.

As for the haircut, I just GOT a shitty haircut. I think my hairdresser was trying to give me a cross between a mullet and a shag. I literally can't do a thing with it--it sticks out here/there. Gah
