0 This year the cover got blown away from the side. It's a kidney shaped pool and I would love to get one of those hard covers. When I priced them they were about 1000.00 last year. One more vacuum and it should be fine.

0 Our pool has green all in it too. We don't have a cover for it in the winter so I don't know if that makes a difference or not. We just keep scooping the leaves out in the fall until the water freezes.

0 A cover makes a huge difference. If we close the pool properly with all the chemicals and procedures, we have a ready to swim in pool two days after opening.

0 Our pool is ready in two days as well. Throw in the chemicals, vacuum and go swimming!!!

0 Even with the green water? When I was a kid we had a pool and it turned green a couple times and we went through hell getting it clear again. Algae is a bitch to get rid of. I guess the chemicals now are a lot better.

0 Dodged a bullet today. My friend wanted to come over and hang and I just have too much to do for company and I want to get a bike ride in. It's friggin GORGEOUS out, no humidity and a lovely cool breeze. I cannot pass this opportunity to ride!

0 Monday. It's a little chilly now for swimming here. I'm hoping it warms up over the weekend.

There is a hair place in a small town we drive through called "The Scissor Sisters". I am sure there is not alot of people in that podunk town that know what that means. Next time I drive through there I will take a photo. |
