We just spent $225 on pool chemicals. You know how many chlorine bombs I can make out of that stuff?

Got my tire fixed and a new inner tube - some kind of extra thick heavy duty tube. Stupid kid tried to tell me how heavy the bike will be now with the tube in there. OUNCES - he thinks I'm going to notice ounces on an item I can lift over my head.

This guy is so expensive for tools and kits. I'm going to have to go online and shop for gadgets. He tried to sell me a kit bag for under the seat for $50 - two too fat tire thingys, a bag for under the seat and a very shitty tire repair kit and a tiny air pump. I'll get my stuff on my own thankyouverymuch.

I was also told that those CO2 cartridge things are only good for street bikes because once the CO2 hits the air (oxygen), it starts to go flat in the tire again. I'm not sure I believe that but I still think they're good for getting you out of the woods and home regardless.

I have never heard this one, you mean I would be in trouble if I ever got a flat on my mountain bike? Hell, I will carry the CO2 thing with me in the woods a lot. If I'm on a trip or something I carry a pump and CO2.

I know you can get CO2 kit things for ATVs so that don't make much sense either.

Make sure a CO2 you might buy will use 12g threadless cartridges so you can use the cheap BB gun ones from walmart.

Also if you ever order anything from nashbar don't order without getting a discount or free shipping. That pretty much goes for all those on-line places.

Somewhere I gave you my picks for patch kits, multi tools, tire levers, CO2 thingy, etc, etc...

Book Just spent nearly all day getting my life history at work together for my registration with the British Pharmaceutical Society. What a headache. Swoon

I wouldn't mind but if the Government hadn't introduced the Data Protection Act in 1984 I wouldn't be doing all this, because Boots (the company I trained with) decided that meant they had to destroy all my files including my training details! They could have just asked me if I'd like them, like I kept asking them if I could have them or copies at least since it was ME that did all the hard work on them Gah

There are 10 sections to complete, some easy, just fill in your name (if you know it) address and bank details so we can take money out of your account (help yourself why don't you?). Some harder, list Pharmacist and their registration numbers with where and when you worked.
Three of them are dead! Two retired and one has lost the plot and thinks she is a flowerpot (or something).
Also Scratchead they want to know my ethinc origins, religion and sexual orientation......I think that is against my human rights to ask that (I have put down I am using the Data Protection Act not to divulge this information- Ha!)

Jesus that sounds like one pain in the ass day!

We spent the day in the yard working. We're almost there! Everything looks so nice. Grapes need spraying and some other small details. I'm hoping I can get Matt to fix that ball joint instead of going to Great Adventure tomorrow. I want all the shit work done so we can do nothing but play the rest of the summer.

I'm very, very tan too.

Been working around the inside of my house. Putting stuff away and put things out.

I did get the grass cut yesterday.

Went out and got some dinner tonight.

Looks like all work and no play for me this weekend.

Nothing but rain and work for me.Sorry

About 11pm last night we had just one hell of a thunder storm, it woke us all up, I was calming the cats down and thinking how glad I was that I was not at work then. That place is just a motherfucker when the power flickers.

The power shouldn't flicker at work every time it rains. WTF? Are they charging you more and more for electricity and not bothering to improve the power plants up there? Call ConEd and bitch! Biggrin

It was raining here this morning, still waiting on it to clear out. I told Matt it's not raining under the truck though Giggle
He made a face. Angel

The pool water was 68º at 7AM yesterday and by the end of the day it was 82º. That's a huge jump in one day. It was damn hot out yesterday. I am very, very tan already. I went from looking like a very light tan leftover from last year to a rich golden brown. I can't wait until I get out there and work on a real tan. I love the sun and I love laying out in it. It makes you feel recharged and alive.

It has been so dry here we decided to water the garden with the water from the septic tank..........so this morning we wake up to typical English Bank Holiday weather. It's raining, not so hard to do anything but enough to make it miserable.

Hopefully the both rain water and 'the other' will kick the start the garden into life again.
