Over... I guess it's one of those 'little things' because really it does seem insignificant in the long run, but I know I would get pretty annoyed after a while, if someone kept turning the TP roll the 'wrong way'.

My kids seem to use an entire roll in one sitting so hanging up a roll that will probably be gone in hours seems like a waste of effort.

Actually, that's a good point.

I don't use the TP hanger anymore because of my son. If I have it on the hanger, he will go in the bathroom and yank the roll so it all comes flying off. Gah So, mine sits on the counter as well for now.

What BRAND of TP to use though? Now that's a different matter entirely.

Scott Tissue - single ply - ONLY (or generic equivalent 1000 sheets per roll). Everything else is a rip-off.

wot

Reminds me of the old joke my uncle used to 'tell' about Army Issue TP.

He would say 'this is how the Army taught us to wipe our asses (yeah, he was vulgar). You get ONE sheet of TP and you fold it in half, then half again. Then, you tear this corner off carefully and keep this piece (he had torn off) - don't forget about it! It's very important!!' Then he would unfold the piece of TP and it had a little hole in the middle, which he would place his middle finger through, then mimic wiping his rear.

'Now, the most important part!' he would say, and pull out the little piece he had torn off, and use it to clean under his nail with.

He always got a kick out of that. Doh

Horse shit. Tongue

Why would I want single ply and have to use twice as much when I can get the 550 sheet 2-ply for the same price? That makes no sense Tongue

Ummm because you DON'T have to use 'Twice as much'?? Doh

Scott-tissue (or generic), single ply, 1000 sheets per roll... best TP deal in the market!

Scott Tissue is the best. It's great hamster bedding too. You actually use less Scott's than the other cushioned/quilted and smaller rolls.

We've done the physical comparisons.

Yeah, I've done comparisons too. And if I don't use twice as much single ply it tears and I get shit on my hand. No thanks.

You could save money by wiping you ass with a rag on a stick.

I use whatever toilet paper is on offer at the time, every week is like an ass lottery.
