So, our car club had dubbed last year's round of cruises the "Take Your Medicine" tour. This year was supposed to be "Balls to the Wall Tour". Apparently it's going to be the "Balls on the Sofa Tour" and a wedding possibly canceled - which is going to royally suck.

How are you all doing?
How shut down are you in your respective areas? Obviously I'm hit pretty hard in the NY, NJ area. Philly is now looking to be the next large "hot spot" and I expect this to keep migrating like that until it runs it's course.

Food is still scarce here. You can't go into a store without seeing lots of empty shelves still. Forget paper products. I still can't figure out why the toilet paper was so damn important.

We are bored to tears. Roads that are supposed to be empty are not. No one is listening and Gov. DoucheBag said that anyone breaking the stay at home order will be fine $1000 per day and he's yet to fine anyone. There is a large Hasidic community in the next town over and they are flat out ignoring everything. Gatherings of 2K and more have been going on non-stop and why they are not being "punished" in some way is beyond me. The only reason I can think of is that they are in the governors pocket somehow.

People in general are filthy farm animals. There are used gloves littered EVERYWHERE. Parking lots, roads, sidewalks etc. How fucking hard is it to carry a baggie and toss your used gloves into that and zip it up, toss it in the bin properly instead of spewing your filth all over only to prolong this thing?

I'm so tired of being home. And of course the one time I go out my car gets smashed. ugh.

I'm hoping I'll be able to have my local pool supply open (it's walking distance) so I can at least spend quality time in the yard. And I'm not a conspiracy nut by any stretch, but this thing is either a weapon or it's mutating at a really fast pace. Pick one paranoid theory or the other.

I am so glad to be living where I do. There is now like 70 cases in our county.
There is noticeably less traffic on the roads and the few times I've been to the stores (early in the am) there doesn't seem to be too many people out. The stores are all well stocked from what I've seen, but still low on toilet paper and paper products, and sanitizer and wipes are nonexistent.
I think people around here are taking it pretty serious for the most part.

I know also that when they say you are quarantined that they mean it. Someone from the health dept. will randomly stop by, call you on the phone and make you show yourself outside so they can be sure that you are not out chasing around.

On a positive note though, some of things that make me have hope for humanity. I see people wearing masks, most people I've had dealings with in the supermarkets are polite and respectful of one another, and the moose lodge from the next town over has set up on the state highway on the weekends handing out free lunches for the truckers passing through.
Your signatures annoy me.

Pretty much everybody in my family is considered 'essential'.  Although my Daughter-in-law is getting her hours at the vet cut pretty drastically starting next week.  My wife works from home.  She wants to go out and do stuff.  Even though before she was fine being home pretty much as much as she could.  'Now that I have to, I don't want to!'  It's like living with a full size toddler.  I have to go in, as my job is hands on in order to make the magic happen.  Mostly just trying to keep it away from my Dad.

There are still some things that can be tough to find.  For the most part you can get whatever you want.  TP is plentiful again.  At least CostCo had PLENTY of it today.  Roads are a little clearer.  Noticeable in the middle of the day.

We try to get some take out from places we like, give them our business.  I had some work done to my truck that I had been putting off, to give my mechanic some business.  So far we have been pretty lucky so I try to help some others when I can.

Miss the hockey...

The roads are mostly devoid of traffic here. Paper goods and wipes are nearly non-existent but food is not an issue except for a few items shorter on stock than normal.

Work has slowed a little but not horribly. Dispatch told me that next week could be on the slim side but we'll just have to see how things play out.

As far as Barb and I........we really don't go out running around much anyway so it's pretty much no different than normal here at the house. The only exception is that the Elks and VFW are shut down so our once every 5 weeks or so social outings are on hold until they can reopen.

NO ONE is adhering to those rules around here.
There are no knocks on doors to make sure people are in and forget the Hasidic communities. They simply are not taking this seriously. Bad enough they are "anti-vaxers" and last year we had a run of measles again in the 5 boroughs, but now they just don't fucking care.

Glad you can get supplies, Biker. We still cannot.

I will look this weekend. Last weekend I didn't go look but they had so many CostCo brand packs that they were in the main ailses as well!

So I got my $1200 from the Republican Socialists Party of America yesterday. Can't decide what to spend it on. Hoarding toilet paper, mods for my bike, or maybe I will finally get that tattoo of trumpy on my ass...

Matt got a check but I didn't. Tattoo shops are closed here. Still no TP to be found. If the Costco brand is the same size, thickness etc as Scotts, that will do! Matt is going to try a couple of Costco's in Pa while working tomorrow. We still cannot get into stores without being supervised, one person per family and only 10 people at a time. People are lining up all around the parking lots/blocks to get in and no one is keeping more than the normal distance away from each other. They extended lockdown for another month here too. I'll let you know if he scores.

Trump wants to start loosening restrictions in areas that are not so populated. I can agree with that. I may take matt's check and buy a pair of Eleanor side scoops for the windows for my car. Biggrin I won't get her back for a couple more weeks or so. I think he said the 29th. They don't want to paint my calipers. Bah. I'll have to DIY of find someone to do it for me. I want the Cervini's scoops but they come unpainted. Ugh. I want them black. colored wont' work with this model car because there is no painted piece of body between the front window and rear window like the other car had. The blue would look funny. Go look on Cervinis or any of the other sites and you'll see what I mean. I want to change the decklid on the trunk to remove the GT emblem too so I can put a graphic on that.

I'm bored to tears. this sucks. All our parks are closed due to the Hasidic community not doing what they're told. they are not adhering to the lockdown and they are throwing parties of people in the thousands. they get caught, fined etc and then instead of having those large gatherings at temple or a house or catering hall, the fuckers are using the public domain like county and state parks. So gov. DoucheBag had to shut those down too.

Schools are closed here and in NY & Pa for the rest of the year. Yay, more dummies loose.
