Well, shopping all week lead me to purchase another Mustang GT Premium.
I should have her in about 8 weeks or so.

Lightening Blue Metallic
Fastback
Black interior
Premier trim
Performance package level 2
Track apps
Comfort package
Superduper Shaker stereo with touch screen, navigation and car play - 12 speakers
punched up wheels
Ford does not offer stripes on the GT's, only the Shelby's
3.73 Torsen rear axel
Magnaride suspension
Active valve performance exhaust

Shelby GT350's will not be made again this year. If they do, they are very limited and I'd be way down the list if I would even be able to get one. Shelby GT500 is what's up next and that will start at $75K and up.

Bullitt is said to not have the option on switching out those Recaro seats. I just physically cannot use those for multiple reasons.

Interesting. The Bullitt is not on Fords website, but I had read in multiple places that Recaro's were an option. Can't verify that through Ford on a car that is not released yet however. And the GT350 is indeed a 2018 model. I had heard that no for 2019, but right now Ford is selling 2018 GT350's. The base is about $18k above the base on the GT premium.

Yeah, the Bullitt has no official release date. No one knows how many will be made either. GT350 is another thing that only a certain amount are made and then dealers only get an allotment for sale off the lot. My dealer gets ONE. And the one he got is that hideous orange. He'd have been happy to sell it to me but I just can't do that color. More than one dealer has told me this and they stopped taking orders on the GT350 months ago. Kind of stupid when you got people wanting them. It's Ford's way of boosting up the price for the 500 coming out and getting away with it.

I'll be happy with this. I was happy with the other one. I'm not racing (they closed Englishtown anyway) and it's my daily when warm out so it's all good. Hey, I can always trade in if the mood strikes Smile

I guess I have not really been keeping up with the mustang saga, and I'm sure it has all been a giant pain in the ass. However, even though I'm sure it is costing you more than you will get from insurance and stuff I'm glad to see you getting a new car and not have to keep driving one that has been wrecked.
I know they can fix them up so they are good like new, but it still sucks knowing it was banged up.
Your signatures annoy me.

Oy, you are way behind! Car was totaled. Not fixable to what the cost to fix or total ratio. I would much rather have had it fixed. It was exactly what I wanted. Car was crumpled from nose to tail at a cost of $24K to fix. They gave me $28k for the car. I'm putting $30K or more down on the new one. What hurts is that we are paying full retail because we no longer have dads Zplan gift.

Why that color even exists for Mustangs is beyond me...

That color looked bad on the 1969 Boss 302 and it's even worse on the new GT350s.

That is something else that baffles me.  People that get brand new cars repainted some flat color.  It is something I don't understand...
