Yeah I would too since it's a little girl's bike. Hell my first street bike was my Harley. We had dirt bikes bigger than that Kaw.

I don't know if I go after it with a can of bondo and some spray paint or shoe goo and my hot melt glue gun.

I view don't size as important at all for bike choice.  It's about what you want to do with it.  Hell, you can get 650cc dirt bikes.  I wouldn't want one, but they are out there.  Currently I have one an 850 triple, and one a 1300cc twin.

Also decided a long time ago, things would have to change radically before I ever spend my money on a harley of any kind.

Felt the he breeze of Biker missing the teasing toward Mark clear across the country.

I liked my Harley. To each their own.

Some people base purchasing decisions on things like the name.  My preference is solely based upon build quality and longevity for the money.

Well I was able to put my feet on the floor. Balance was just right for me and when I used that Honda 400 to get my license, I must have dropped that awful thing 10+ times due to it being so terrible. I had to slide my ass sideways at stops so I can hold the damn thing up.

I buy what I want. I follow no one. I lead. Biggrin

Said everyone that did exactly what others before them have done.

For me it's the fit and feel of the bike as my biggest factors. Next is service record.

HD doesn't have the greatest track record on service. I know several owners who didn't put many miles on in a season and ended up dumping $400 or so into the bike just to get it ready to ride the next year. Fuck that!

I'll stick with Suzuki, Yamaha or Honda.

Suzuki S 50, Yamaha V Star and old Honda Magna series bikes are a good fit for me since I'm just a short guy with a whopping 29 inch inseam.

Meh, I've had them all. 500cc dirt bike down to 125cc dirt bikes, 1000cc Kawasaki down to my 500cc Honda touring/rat bike, wait, I remember a 450cc Honda a hundred years ago, and there was a Harley in there somewhere too.
I get it all, take and old bike, rat it out, restore it, keep it as it is, I get it all.

Yeah as far as dirt bikes I've had all kinds of engine sizes.

Owned 90 and 250 Suzukis, when I raced I had 100, 125, 250 and 400 TM & RM Suzukis.
Rode a 175 CZ, 250 Jawa, 250 and 400 Maico, 350 and 535 Husqvarna, 70, 100 and 125 Indians, 125 Elsinore Honda, 250 Alpina Bultaco, 125 Wombat Hodaka, 250 Montesa, 500 TT Yamaha (those are friggin' ANIMALS) and even a 250 OSSA (Spanish made bike).

I had a TS 350 Suzuki street bike while I was in college and that little shit was WAY faster than a 350 should have been.

I'd love to get my hands on 2 old Suzukis.......the TS 750 water cooled and the RE5 which was a rotary engine bike.

Wouldn't mind a Honda V-65 Magna either.
