Ah good old CL. When my mother-in-law moved to Maryland, we sold off a lot of her current stuff, just so we wouldn't have to ship it. Really nice master bedroom set and a china cabinet. The scammers were all over it. Several with the exact thing you posted. Was amazing. Eventually found some buyers that were serious. Then everything else went into the pod and off it went. I was glad that a friend bought the car, so we didn't have to CL it again...

The scammer was from LetGo. Sucks when they use gmail accounts too because I can't trace the originating IP address. Fuck Google.

It's not even worth a reply to those dumb fucks. Just flag them and move on.

I posted an ad, trying to lease some land for hunting. This guy e-mails me asking if I want to sell it. I really don't at the moment and I'm pretty sure he is one of these guys that buys splits and resells. I just don't want to deal with him.
So far I'm being nice, one or two more e-mails and he will get told to go screw.

Oh be more creative than that. String him along awhile. Make him meet you at all kinds of inconvenient times and places and get him drooling. Then tell him no and watch him cry.

I wouldn't sell unless I needed the money desperately. Sell it if you must long into your retirement because if he's one of those land flippers like you say, he may well put houses on it too. You do NOT want neighbors that close where you live. You have a nice spread that's peaceful and PRIVATE. Don't let some schmuck turn it into a mini-suburb.

Actually this piece of land is about an hour away from me. There is nothing but trees and bushes there and lots of state owned forest.
I should build a campground or something there.
