I like the beer like that too. I'm not much of a beer drinker either, but when you're really thirsty and hot, and you have that "sludge" at the back of your throat from thirst, nothing but a cold beer will take that away.

There were 3 kittens staring at me leaving the gun range tonight. Goddamn it. I hate that. Winter is coming and I can't ignore them.

There is a Chinese restaurant in the shopping center where my store is and the Chinese guys a couple years ago had to a mouse issue behind their store and they couldn't set poison because the wooded area is protected so they decided to let loose a couple of cats. Boy was that a bad idea, the cats banged like no tomorrow and by the end of that spring there were about 15-20 cats. As of a few weeks ago there is still at least 10 and they survive the winters some how and come out on the warmer days and hang out in the dumpsters eating whatever. Most of the cats are now feral, fucking crazy and almost impossible to catch. I think the town is formulating a plan to kill them, as inhumane as it sounds it might actually be the best thing for some of these cats. I have seen some of them really fucked up, some are skinny missing an eye or missing a bunch of fur.

The town cannot just go kill them. They have to trap them and take them to the shelter and euthanize them.

God, I'm in bad shape. I'm up and down stairs at work but that's about the extent of my exercise regimen so I decided to start slow and use my Gazelle thingiebob for a few short times a day. I probably wracked up about 10 minutes yesterday and my legs are actually sore. Have you ever seen one of those things, it's the least workout workout you could do. I got it cheap off a co-worker...

I've got a treadmill and a Bowflex, both in storage until we finish that goddamn room.

Swim and bike ride in the summer.

I've sen those and always wondered about them. Do they actually work?

Well enough to get my breathing and heart rate up and my legs on the upper, outer thighs a little sore. It's a place to start anyway, I can use it while I'm watching hulu or something. A woman at another forum said she lost 40 pounds since March walking a mile in the morning and a mile in the evening. That's a huge weight loss, I'd be happy with 15 - 20.
