There was a time about 30 years ago where if it would go 193 I would have to see if it would really do it. Lucky for me those days are long gone.

The dots on the road must have looked like a solid line. Just because Mark is a candy-ass on his bike and the road does not mean you have to be. Lucky for me those days are long gone. I'm waiting for a long quiet stretch of highway so I can see how fast the Mustang will go. I've gotten the truck up to 100 a few times. The spedo only goes to 100 on that so I have no clue if I went any faster in reality. The Mustang spedo maxes out at 120 and I've done 100 quite a few times on that (had to check myself because I had no intention of going that fast!). I wonder how fast I can get it up to and for how long? Need that stretch of highway with no one else on it! Trudi - we're going to be driving to un-congested states!
I have no idea what you're talking about so here's a bunny with a pancake on it's head

0 I-95 between Rt 82 and I-295 in NC has a really nice 10 mile straight flat stretch.
Round about 2 AM it's pretty deserted.

0 These sort of things should be highly encouraged, because it is so effective in helping to weed out bad genes in the gene pool. This is probably one of the main reasons why the term 'youthful indiscretion' precedes old age and wisdom.
The one downside to all this is that it is practically impossible to catch on video. I'd love to see some of these calamities on YouTube.

Especially ones where troopers don't hide behind bill-boards like we got caught with in Virginia! I'll have the 'we are in a hurry to catch the flight' routine ready Done 130mph in a tuned V4 96, in a speed trial, the hairpin bend was the 'I'm going to die' bit. At least Maximillian asked me to ride with him again, because the weight ratio was right. He went from 6th to 2nd The following year he won!

Ah, a girl after my own heart, and with a lead foot to boot! We're going to have fun. You'll have your turn behind the wheel of the Mustang. You'll love driving it!

0 Getting rid of my Honda 750 in '73 was the smartest thing I ever did. Several days before selling it, I had left one of the ranges I ran, at Ft. Jackson. Heading home on I-26 I was doing about 110 weaving in and out of traffic, and suddenly it hit me. "You know, getting shot at is a whole lot less deadly than this If I should lose it. I had to stop at the side of the interstate and get over the shakes before making it home.
Next day, I put the thing up for sale and was more than happy to see it leave the driveway. Naturally, I kept on jumping out of airplanes, because that was a whole lot safer, and a whole lot more fun. 0 (06-03-2012, 10:02 PM)John L Wrote: Getting rid of my Honda 750 in '73 was the smartest thing I ever did.
