Yeah thanks guys, I figured as much. I am still pretty pissed that these guys would even think of trying this crap with me. They know me long enough to know not to bullshit me with cars and trucks.

LKTraz showed me how to test a different way as well... it started sounding like Chinese so I passed the phone to Matt and he will remember what he said. But yeah.... Matt owns several multi meters and these twats forget he uses it daily at work.

But anyway, it's all good now. I just finished setting up the radio and bluetooth again and I'm good to go.

How long you think before I blow the speakers? Giggle

They're the ones that came with the car. I have to save some pennies for new speakers and LK gave me a couple of good suggestions for replacements. Not too expensive either so I should be OK. Just want to keep the ones in the car now so I don't strap myself buying speakers just yet. I also don't relish pulling off the door panels and the panels over the rear speakers to see what shape is in there to replace with. It's REALLY difficult working in that tiny thing! You need to be a friggin' contortionist just to change the inside fuses.

Do realize that it's usually not raw volume that blows speakers but rather distortion. Occasionally you can fry the voice coil with too much wattage and no discernible distortion but that's actually rare.

As John L is an audiophile I'm sure he will confirm this.

Squirrels. The fuckers are tearing up the bird's nests out there. We have tons of song birds come through in the spring and summer, and these bastards ruin their nests and eggs. I plugged four of them today already with my .22.

You know what pisses me off? The ATF - literally the most out of control bureaucracy/agency that exists as a figment of the FedGov. They'll do what they want, trample everyone in their path, and nothing is beneath them.

Still waiting on the whole selling guns to Mexico to prove the US needs tighter gun laws. Like that'll be resolved. The system, all of it, is rotten.

I want to hit him in the face with a running chainsaw.
