I haven't felt well for nearly a week either but it's nothing like TK's illness. But what's weird is, even my gums and teeth hurt. I notice my gums get sensitive when I get sick but not usually my teeth.

Just back from the docs. It's bronchitis. I got some antibiotics - as big as horse pills. But only three of them. Zithromax one a day for three days. I got some narcotic / opiate cough syrup that is tasty grape flavored. I'm wheeling from it! Wheeeeeeeeee. But I'm not coughing

I should expect to stay miserable until after the weekend with progressively feeling better. If I don't by Monday, time to go back again.

I knew it couldnt' be the flu, it just didnt' feel like it. Not with the pain in my back like it is. I never had bronchitis though so, now I know how that feels.

Twilla, watch yourself. My gums, jaws, teeth and sinuses hurt. You could be fighting it off and just keeping at the "miserable but not quite sick" level or prepping for three days flat on your back like I had. This is not fun in any way.

I generally hack up phlegm and wheeze for a week but function the whole time.

I've gotten pretty severe bronchitis myself, where you're exhausted and gasping for air just walking to the bathroom. Fortunately, I can count the number of times I've been that sick on one hand... knock on wood.

Me too Twilla. I don't generally get sick. Most times I'm just fighting something off and never really get sick.

This is a painful dry cough. Going outside in the cold air sets pains throughout my chest and burns the lungs as I inhale. It sucks.

I am starting the re-model on teen daughters room today. Will start a thread after I make some actual progress. Off to spackle and take some "before" pix.

Cool. I'll finish the kitchen when I feel better. It still feels like I'm inhaling razor blades at the moment. Plus Matt has to get new screws for the bottom rail on the cabinets yet. He threw them out by mistake.

I just cannot snowblow for 3 hrs like I used to, it sucks getting old. Time for a cold one. [/i]
