I wouldn't call it claustraphobia - lifts and the like don't bother me. And I like the isolation. Its more to do with thinking I'm gonna get stuck in one of those tiny spaces, or there'll be a cave in and I'm stuck a million miles under ground where no one can reach me
I've been in a few caves, but always on tours, never alone - I once went to Newgrange and that was dodgy - about 20 people in a tiny room made of thousands of tonnes of rock and only a tiny little door. I'm the sort to keep my panic inside, so I wouldn't make a scene, but the magic of the place was lost on me!:gah2:
