the last 3 days has been too goddamn cold! Waking up to temps in the low 30's and not getting past 49º the rest of the day here. TRIED to go for a ride yesterday but after 6 miles I couldn't take it. My ears were frozen and so were a few fingers and toes. Yes, I bundled up except for the ears. Today is no better. Supposed to break tomorrow. I hope so.

They say some upstate got snow. Twist? You see white stuff yet? LK?

We had a very short sleet shower here Sunday afternoon. Only 10 minutes or so and nothing stuck but there WAS little bitty ice balls mixed with the cold assed rain.

Had 27 degrees registered on the big truck's display close to the Delaware river this morning.

Windows on the pickup and big truck frosted over.

I'm trying to crochet a headband for bike riding in the chilly mornings. No frost for us yet, but it was damn cold. Only 50º here right now and the wind is biting so it feels colder.

I'm hunkered inside for the day. Back to jury duty tomorrow.

We had snow Saturday evening and some on Sunday, just enough to kind of stick to the ground and cars and stuff for a little while. Our first frost was probably Thursday night/Friday morning.

We had 2 days of 80º early this week and then it's back to a proper fall. Cloudy right now and it's a brisk 45º out there.
