0 Every place is different. I am finding it very interesting and I don't mind participating at all. I know a lot of people bitch about it, but it's fascinating when or if you get a good case!

0 I get paid from work, full days pay, so I suppose that's why I don't mind. Anything is better than going to work when you are still getting paid.
Your signatures annoy me.

Most places will pay you your regular salary if you're called. The ones that don't should be dropped and a new job found because that boss is a prick and doesn't deserve good workers.

Considering how long some cases go especially big lawsuit ones and murder trials its unmanageable for a business to pay an employee that is called up for jury duty long term without productivity. Take OJ Simpson case although rare that case lasted 8 months aside from big business that has crazy payroll budgets I dont see a small to medium size business paying someone their salary for 8 months as a courtesy. If either of my managers got called for jury duty I would try to work with them and move their schedules around so they could still make money but I couldn't float paying them and finding someone to cover them temporarily and paying that person at similar rate.

0 There is no court on Mondays, Fridays and holidays so they can work some days of the week. If they work over the weekend (as it may be in your store), they can work. So I don't see how compensating for 3 days a week will kill "you" (you being any similar employer). It's very rare around here that a trial will go 8 months anyway. If it does, I wonder if the court will compensate accordingly? Probably will I suppose.

0 OK back to the Monday grind on Wednesday for me!
Wish I was able to get some sleep last night. I look like death warmed over right now. I think I got about two hours sleep. Wobbles is behind me tearing through the house and her tunnels with a periodic pit stop in here to bloop at me to get me to chase her.

0 OK now I'm annoyed. We have a 12 Angry Men thing going now in deliberations and it is NOT ME doing it.
We're sleeping on it overnight and coming back tomorrow for more torture. Details of the case will be posted once I'm allowed.
