I used to put oats out at the back of the pasture for them. Sometimes they would be munching hay with the horses. We lived in a small patch of woods surrounded by a development and roads. The hunters were assholes who drove them to the fire break and shot them. Feeding them saved the tiny herd. One buck and one doe is all that I was able to save by the time I figured out what those shits were doing. Fuckers used to cut my fences too. The family built up again and they always stayed close to the horses and house in the hunting months.

I'm not against hunting on the whole scope if it if you really need the food, but don't be a faggot and cheat especially when there are so few deer around here anymore.

I'm sure that herd is all gone now that I moved.

Don't even get me started on the shit head who threatened me with arrows when I would ride in the woods.

This was years ago and he did pull out of his quiver. I charged him with the horse and that fag tucked tail and ran. Then I rode to the police station - it was close by and reported him. There was a cop sitting on the fire road for the next three weeks.

That twat was pissed that I was scaring off HIS deer with my horse because I put bells on the chest plate during hunting season. Well excuse me! I don't want to get shot. fucking asshole

There are more deer around here than you can shake a stick at. They need to be hunted and thinned out or they wouldn't be in my back yard every day with the neighbors dog barking and me walking about and not being scared. I've hunted. I've thought about hunting this year, but probably not. They need to be hunted and thinned out so they don't starve in the lean months and run in front of my car and all that good stuff. They just don't need to be eating my blueberries and they need to be respected as a living thing.
If you are going to eat it, you should be able to look it in the eye and take it's life. Then you need to respect that life that you took by using every bit of it. If you can't do that.....eat a fucking turnip.
I will chase and scare these little fucks and give them a half a chance this fall.
