I just spent a good half hour scouring the internet with various search terms and couldn't find the article I'm looking for.
This morning on Fox and Friends they caught my attention to watch a segment where they were saying the government was trying to pass a bill or get one considered or whatever - that will ban TV ads regarding foods that have high sugar and sodium content from airing on prime time and other times when children 12 years and under may be watching.
I scoured the Fox website - nothing.
Yahoo and Google searches got me results for Europe, the UK and China/Tiawan. The Chinese one got me thinking this could be the story as it was damn near word for word what these drones on Fox were saying. They just made it "American" instead of Chinese and it's being "proposed" vs. already enacted and they omitted the cigarettes - but, get this - the cigarette and alcohol ban was used to compare this to and said that was merely voluntary back then. Voluntary because the heat was on them already.
Anyway, this is the Chinese story.
These are the yahoo and google search results (FYI - didn't scour past page 1) -
