0 They have their place, it's not gonna replace craftsman, snap-on, SK, Makita, etc, etc...
But for something the average guy is only gonna use a handful of times. Hells yeah, I've bought stuff there.

0 For quality tools I will buy Craftsman, Ingersol-Rand, Black and Decker, Stanley etc. But when I need something that will not be constantly used these guys are the cat's ass!
We have a Harbor Freight retail store nearby in Pottsville and another just a bit farther in Harrisburg.

0 We have one not 5 miles from here. They are mostly crap when it comes to hand tools. But, if you need a cheap dolly in a pinch or a hand truck.... HF is the place to grab one!
I'm a firm believer in buying the right tool the first time and cheaping out only costs you more in the long run.
I have no idea what you're talking about so here's a bunny with a pancake on it's head

0 Last winter I needed a small rat tail file for something I was doing, good files were like 20 bucks for 2 or 3 of them in a little set at sears or home depot. HF had a set of about 10 for like 2 bucks. Used it and now I really don't even know where the set is, or care. Hell, I'll probably never have any use for them again.

0 Great for disposable stuff like files, gloves that will get ruined after 1 or 2 jobs, cut off wheels when even the good ones don't last for more than more than one project etc.
0 HF is my favorite place for strange whats it tools and Christmas things that may be used once in a life time in a strange place and time for a man that says hmm I may never use that but its cool and 2 years later he says my god I used it gee thanks it saved my ass... stocking stuffer odd ball things you think you may never use like thumb ratchets that LK cant live without now LOL
I may buy him an expensive set one day
