Common sense is GONE... you see it everywhere now with the one-size-fits-all laws in schools. Bring an aspirin to school? OMG! DRUGS! "Kid, you're expelled for the year! We have a zero tolerance to DRUGS!".
CPS...childless college grads who work for the gov't and "Know what's best" for how to raise your own kid. I know there are cases where it's needed. physical abuse (be careful of the definition of "abuse") but generally they are just trying to justify their employment.
