I used to walk to the movie theater about 10 blocks away when I was a kid. (Lived in a Philadelphia burb)

I was also within walking distance (LONG walk) of the Tower Theater in Phila. Yes......the Tower actually showed movies BEFORE it became a small concert venue! I saw Robinson Crusoe On Mars there.

My sister took me to theater downtown to see Dr Doolittle starring Rex Harrison. I enjoyed Planet Of The Apes and my favorite movie as a kid/pre-teen was Bullit starring Steve McQueen.
