I want to ride my [new] bicycle
I want to ride my bike.
I want to ride my [new] bicycle
I want to ride it where I like!

Yahoo My bike came!

I'm going to finish the housework bullshit and laundry and I'm going to put it together later. I'll give you photographs too.

The UPS guy was not my regular man. This was some big and I mean BIG galoot and he heard Daisy and wouldn't come to the door unless I closed it. Rofl

Know what sucks? The bike is too big for me. Way too big.

I got the front tire on and the damn frame is up to my hips.

No. It was a prize from last year's Marlboro contest. You didn't get to pick size, color or anything.

This bike retails for $450 according to the bike shop.

It's already posted on Craigslist.

I may put it on Ebay too.

Well TK that is just stupid to offer a prize without giving an option for the size of the winner!

My dad had a friend at work who entered a car raffle at Sabaru. It was a copy of the rally racing team with spoilers, engine tweek the lot!. It also came with racing seats which was a real problem since when he went to collect his winning car at the local garage he took his wife. She was 7 months pregnant. So the salesman took her home following her husband in his prize. They were told they had to keep the car for a minimum of 12 months, but the dealers had a plan. They put the car in the show room on display and took people out in it on charity trips. Meanwhile dad's friend and his wife were given a 'loan vehicle' which they had as a trade-in on the racing car one year later and money in the pocket too.

There were like 5000 of them given away, Trudi.

I think Fuji had a surplus of this particular bike and size and gave it to Marlboro for the prizes.

I do agree it is stupid. It's a really nice bike too.

My stupid ad isn't posted yet. Hopefully it gets up there soon. I may double list it on Ebay too.

This is what the bike should look like put together.

This is it out of the box after I took off the wheel and seat and handle bars after I found it was too big for me.

I'm so bummed. I was hoping I can "make do" with it as it is.

Oh and it's not 'burgundy' like it says on that box label... it's RED, very very red.
