This has been floating around for a bit. LK's Orwell reference to Animal Farm in the Brexit thread reminded me of this story. Makes my head ache to know this kind of bullshit mind manipulation is going on with the kids these days. If this were my kid, there would be much more of a stink made about this and I would NOT send that kid back to public school ever again. I'd find a way to home school because IMO, schools are not fit anymore to teach kids.

Interesting. I have a friend I'll be seeing tomorrow who is a teacher in that district. I'm going to ask her. Snopes only fact check was calling the school in question. Camden is a shit hole and stories like this do not surprise me when it is coming from that area. Too many times I've seen her posting that she hears gunshots outside near the school. She teaches 1st grade too. In NJ there also have been a lot of holidays in elementary schools cancelled due to the fact it might offend someone. One area even killed off Halloween FFS.

Overall, they are indeed brainwashing our kids and teaching them they can and can't say one thing or another. Suppressing free speech and brainwashing. Not cool. As Americans we are allowed to be assholes. We generally take care of the offensive stuff on our own and really don't need some douche-bag trying to legislate the hate out of us.
