Seaglass Carousel opens in Battery Park

Has anyone seen the news about this new carousel that opened last week in Battery Park, NYC? It's just gorgeous and very unique.

If we go into the city soon I'm going to try to get there and take pictures of this thing at night. I saw it on the news and it's truly amazing.

It looks kinda cool. I can't say I'd go outta my way to see it though.

It's in the area we hang out so it's not a big deal. I want to see it at night. It's been drawing huge crowds already. I can't find what it costs to ride it though, probably something ridiculous.

Maybe in person it looks like you are in a fishbowl, but still. Yeah, maybe if I were right there I'd go for a ride.

I read somewhere that on Staten Island they're going to build a giant Ferris Wheel - somewhere on the north shore looking toward the city. Going to call it the Observation Wheel or some stupid thing like that. Meh, England already did that.
