Rabbit stew sounds so good... but on the advice of several different wildlife rehab places I called today we are going to release them into the wild tomorrow. Apparently they're ready to be on their own.

0 Better take them for a long ride to new digs in the woods somewhere or they'll keep coming back and get slaughtered by the dog.
I have no idea what you're talking about so here's a bunny with a pancake on it's head

0 Until your kid, with tear filled eyes says, "Daddy please let them go close to us so they can come visit for pets and hugs."

0 All went well letting them loose after supper today. Took a family drive out to a nature preserve and walked a trail. When we got to the river we let them loose and watched them play for a bit. Then came home. All's well that ends well.

0 I've actually seen that happen only with an owl. Poor guinea hen.

0 I'm sure they are all on bunny island, all happy and playing and stuff.
I saw a hawk come down in my back yard once. He was after a chipmunk in a pine tree, the hawk was crashing through branches and and made a hell of a ruckus, that chipmunk ran like a mofo and actually got away.

0 Well, one of the initial six bunnies escaped a Hawk the day we first found them. It was in the yard of a neighbor across the street and the hawk swooped down. The bunny saw it just in time and moved just enough that only the outside edge of one talon grazed it knocking it a little sideways. It kept going and ran into some thick bushes to hide. Damn Hawk sat in the tree right there in the yard for a good two hours trying to wait the little guy out.
