It's all the news here is talking about. Mayor Ed Koch died this morning at 88 years old.
I almost put him in my casket but I couldn't for sentimental reasons. I love that guy and putting him in there felt like I was wishing him dead. He has to be one of the greatest mayors the city ever had.
They just finished a documentary on him and sadly, he missed the premiere a couple days ago. If it comes out near you, you should see it. He was quite the character and he brought NYC back from the depths of near hell.
