0 It sounds like a giant bee buzzing down the track! OMG it's so tiny!
I have no idea what you're talking about so here's a bunny with a pancake on it's head

0 I wonder what it's naught to sixty was, looked fun as fuck, I unfortunately would not even come close to fitting in the bastard :'(

0 Well.......knowing pretty much what translates from final ET and speed and given that in general a vehicle traversing the 1/4 mile will generate roughly 67% of it's final speed by the halfway point......it should have reached the 60 MPH mark at roughly 450 - 500 feet. With acceleration rate slowing as a vehicle passes the 660 foot mark it would look like the 0 - 60 time would work out to somewhere around the high 6 or so seconds bracket.
Still, rather impressive for a tiny little vehicle like this! Just for grins, compare this with a Top Fuel dragster's numbers. From Pomona 2006 - Tony Schumacher's incremental times: 60ft-0.841 sec 330ft-2.114 sec 660ft-3.003 sec @ 283.19mph 1,000ft-3.759 sec 1320ft- 4.428 sec @ 327.98mph His fastest speed ever was 337.58 mph done at Brainerd, MN in 2005 But in perspective.....that Fiat run was pretty impressive.

0 I'd love for them to cut the roof of that fiat so I could have a rag on it. I still think it looks way fun.
Thanks for the additional info and comparisons LKTraz.

0 ESAD, LKTraz is our resident mechanic. He's a font of knowledge on cars and trucks.
I'm often calling him on how to repair something!

0 Yo Traz, is THIS the run you're talking about?
[yt]E7Qnoz_HyK8[/yt] Tony won the race, set a new record and won the 2006 championship with that pass. He had to do all three in order to gain enough points to keep Doug Kalitta from taking the title for the year. Friggin heart attack time for the fans and his crew. That Fiat is one quick little bee buzzer. |
