0 Polls mean nothing, it's our representatives that we vote into office that are supposed to represent our opinions and desires that make these shit decisions. Did I mention "represent"? Because that's the big problem right now, they don't represent us, they follow the dollar. The American voter means nothing, it's the big corporations that run this country.

0 You're right. What cracks me up is that the "left" bitch about the "right's" fondness for big money but if you look around, they're just as guilty of the same 'crime'.
Another problem is that not enough people in their representative's districts will bother making a phone call or writing a letter to express to the rep they've not been doing what they were elected to do. 0 People make the mistake of thinking that the US is a democratic government. It is in fact a representative republic with democratically held elections.
