0 We all do.
The whole point of this thread was not to critique our business but to show you the differences between a poorly made site and one that is a bit more easy on the eyes. We get enough business from word of mouth as well as outside referrals. We have an established reputation within the "community" for our work. What I wanted to show you was that HOW you present yourself on the web VISUALLY is just as important as content. The people who made the Wizards site are total hacks. I am far from a professional web designer and I know enough not to tell people you are working out of your pocket and give a cell number. We have a phone number dedicated to the business. I also know that you don't set up something so obnoxious that it gives you epileptic fits looking at it. Keep your images clean and in perspective and when you click on a link, you make sure it is not taking you to an outside source hosting the image. Flicker and Photobucket are not what you want people to see you using if you are boasting you are tech savvy. These guys are arrogant and intrusive. They are putting their "flyer" - which is a wrinkled piece of two sticky pages slapped together - on top of all the jobs Matt's company (his day job) is on. If we find them doing this on our side jobs for OTW, there will be hell to pay. That's just not cool. I'm surprised his boss didn't pitch a fit.
I have no idea what you're talking about so here's a bunny with a pancake on it's head
