Couple lost in apple orchard calls 911 <--clicky for hilarious video
STOW (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A local couple had to call 911 after getting lost in an apple orchard on Wednesday night.
Mark Rosenthal and his wife were picking apples at the Honey Pot Hill Orchard when they tried to make their way back to the car.
"She (my wife) goes 'Follow me, I know where I'm going,' and I said, 'Oh, really?' and she brought me down this dirt road."
Instead of getting back to the car, that dirt road took them further into the woods so they decided to call 911 for help.
Andrew Martin works at the orchard and says that the staff is usually there to help out, but it was later in the day and they had gone home.
After the Rosenthals called 911, police tracked Mark's phone by GPS.
Aside from suffering some embarrassment, they were fine.
Sound familiar? A similar incident happened two weeks ago when a couple got lost in a corn maze .
