0 2 years old. He WAS an outdoor "farm cat" but he ventured too close to the road and got smacked one night. I saw him laying on the front porch and he wasn't acting right so I went over to check him and found that he was not using his left rear leg and not moving his tail. The only thing he had broken was the tip of his tail but he was banged up pretty bad.
Turns out his tail suffered nerve damage when he got hit and he couldn't move it at all. (He got caught on his left hind quarter.) I brought him inside so we could nurse him back to health. He was scheduled to go back outside when he recovered but it's only now that he is starting to move his tail and he got hit when he was 7 months old. He's now an indoor pampered kitty

But, if you accidentally step on his tail (like I did 2 weeks ago) he doesn't feel a thing. At least at this point in his recovery. He has nothing to worry about though. The little shit is my "orange buddy" now. |
