Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband says he wants surrogate to carry couple's baby
LOS ANGELES -- The husband of ailing actress Zsa Zsa Gabor claims he and his 94-year-old wife are trying to have a baby using a surrogate mother.
Prince Frederic von Anhalt, 67, visited a Beverly Hills fertility clinic Wednesday to store his sperm and plans to use the egg and womb of a surrogate to carry the couple's child, TMZ reported Thursday.
Anhalt, who is Gabor's ninth husband, told TMZ, "It was always my wife's dream for us to have a child ... and even though we won't be using any of her eggs, she would be thrilled to know I'm going through with this."

"I am so excited," he added. "I hope Zsa Zsa is going to hang around for a while. I want her to see and hold the baby's hand. She will be a mother again at 95. It was her wish to have a boy."
Gabor has been in and out of the hospital since July 2010 when she fell out of bed while watching "Jeopardy!" and broke her hip. Her right leg was amputated above the knee to fight an infection in January.
She was rushed back to the hospital last month after she began coughing up blood.
Gabor's daughter, Francesca Hilton, has publicly criticized her stepfather over his care of her mother.
Earlier this month she said that von Anhalt had engaged in a "shameless publicity stunt" by telling reporters that Gabor was so stricken by Elizabeth Taylor's death that she had to be hospitalized.
