0 Hey Kim.
I'm still sick. I thought I was getting better yesterday but today brings a new round of this stubborn virus. Dinner was not a good idea apparently and the gods of pain struck in the middle of the night. I don't feel like I have the flu. I don't ache and I'm not congested but for maybe a tiny unnoticeable bit in my ears that triggered the vertigo. No fever, no headache. Just the stomach ailments and not able to keep food down. Bastards. Last night was a dirty trick. I was hungry. I had tomato soup and hummus. nothing bad. Not a lot. Just nutrients. Maybe I'll lose a few pounds for it though. Just looking on the bright side ![]() ![]()

0 Had a small victory yesterday. Last week I called Drs. Foster & Smith about two beds I bought for the dogs last Christmas. Oddly, the zippers broke on each of them one after the other last week. There were no stops on the ends of them. Weird. Anyway, the lady last week said that there is no warranty now that the beds are recently discontinued.
I wasn't having that. So I waited a bit and called yesterday. Got a different support tech and she consulted with the supervisor and I am sending them my bed covers and they are sending me new ones. I love that store. They stand by their products and they sell quality merchandise. I was so bummed because although those beds are new and the covers get washed weekly, they look brand new. They are holding up to the rigors of Goliath who destroys everything he owns. So, I stuck them in the wash again, packed them up and off they're going today. nice. Kim, I feel bad for you. There is nothing worse than not having any time for yourself. You asked for conversations and now look what you did! They all clammed up on us! ![]()

0 It is fun to come here and just read all of the stuff you all have to say!!!
Well here is an update on me. I have a job!! Yes I will be working Monday to Friday now!!! Well how do you like that??? Ok, on to the next thing I have a car. Yes we went and got a car yesterday. And it only has 9 miles on it. Mom did the deal. The only thing I said was I like the blue one. Then I was looking at the book. And I need some cable to work my Ipod with the car. So I said to the guy, can I get the cable. He said it was $33.95. Then I said, Well I just got this car. Can't I have the cable for free. He kind of look at me. Well I got the cable for free. Now you are all updated on me. Told you all I'm on a fast train. I am still trying to think about working 40 plus hours!!!!!!!!! That is just kind of odd!!!!!!!!!!! Talk to you all later!!!

0 Hey, Look! You and I own page 200 of this thread!
So? What kind of car? ![]() 0 It is a 2011 Hyundai Accent, in a dark blue.
They say it is a 3 door. So there are the 2 side doors and a back door for stuff. You can go online and see if you want. I like being the ones that are typing on page 200!!!!!! OH, I should tell you too. That I'm going to be a shipper again!!! Been there done that for 15 years. So I can do it my sleep!!!! (I will be working at the same company as Bruce did) Kind of odd, but they offered me the job, so I took it. Better then looking for one right now.

0 I'd take it too. You know the people and the atmosphere, you've worked there as a fill in on occasion (don't know what capacity but I know you've posted you had to help at work once in awhile) so that is a bonus too.
That rear door is called a hatch and the model they call - or they used to call it, a hatchback. My Subaru was like that and I really liked it. Was easy to get in and out of there and it made storing bigger things easy. And this post makes it post #2000 on page 200 ![]() ![]() |
